The Third Practice is an idea that I am not a curator nor artist in a creative process. I'm an agent that "makes things happen (Warhol)". I am not a producer of events I am actively working to incite them.
A Series of Possible Progressions was my Masters degree, critically melding my art and curatorial practices into or what I now call The 3rd Practice and operates as an autonomous practice. The concept is to find a conceptual and ethical real estate between being an artist and a curator. Every artist in my cohort was asked to make an artwork on an A4 piece of paper. They were then put in a triangle taped onto the cement floor, which was pointed at the entrance of the gallery. When the exhibition opened, all of the paper works were blown all over the gallery wall ( A series of Possible Progressions). - Chelsea School of Art, Triangle Space, London , UK (2006).
