synaptic pop 

I overheard someone calling  an "other", a  bubble- brain (!).  That image has stuck  in  my  head ever since.  What could a bubble brain look like?  A brain shaped like a bubble would be to straight forward. Perhaps one could be like cartoon  animators use thought  bubbles,  or like Roy Litchenstein used them in his paintings. I began to imagine them as effervescent and floating images in this body of work. I am trying to connect  the idea of pop art and culture to combined  images   pop  drinks or floating bodies.
